Yes! They are not only robust and fit for purpose, but they are also coured and softened. This technique is used in the Linen industry to give you maximum softness, and with our face masks, it's important to give you the best experience possible, and with the surgical mask, we have crossed the T’s and dotted the I’s to give you the best product on the market.
Using two elastic bands to wrap your head around. One for around your neck and one around the back of the head or crown. Allowing your mask to be worn around the head
Made from 265 GSM linen, using only the finest Linen available in the market. All Spun and woven in Banbridge headquarters. Also, it is important that each surgical mask is ‘Sanforized’ to prevent any shrinkage, promoting durability.
Our masks are Antibacterial
With our masks being produced from pure Irish linen, it means they naturally catch and destroy any bacteria, wanted or unwanted. When bacteria is caught in linen, the surface of the material becomes hostile, meaning bacteria spread. Its then broken down and dispersed.
Each surgical mask are washable and Sustainable
Again, they are made from Linen, it's completely natural. Flax seeds are the main ingredient when creating Linen fabrics, because Flax is naturally grown, it's completely sustainable, leaving no waste or carbon footprint. With Linen being sustainable, this also means that it is recyclable.
Our masks are recyclable
Yes it is, Linen is most of the strongest fibres in the world, and often debated to be the best around. Linen can endure a lot of heavy use, making it consistently robust. But, Linen doesn't lose its strength or composition, but it is biodegradable, if left alone! This makes our material the best around, and in today's climate, I think it's time to look at sustainable alternatives.
Gentle on Skin
Made from completely natural materials, meaning it is Hypoallergenic, allowing your skin to be free of irritation and the disruption of allergies that plague most of us at some point. Our masks are very gentle on skin and will leave you feeling great. Other materials don’t hold the natural properties that linen holds.
Made with foldable design
Our masks are designed with a foldable mouth guard. The design is best used to give you a comfortable fit when wearing masks, allowing you to have more breathing room and also, giving our mouth plenty of talking space!
Linen is one of the most powerful, sustainable, and strongest fibres known to man, but it’s also biodegradable… but what does this mean for the environment?
With Linen, it can endure a lot of heavy use for long periods of time, but it's great to know that if linen was in landfills, that it would degrade back into the earth. This is why Irish Linen properties are promoting the beneficial properties of Linen, because of its sustainability, it’s important to understand the dangers of our plastic face mask pollution.
Linen is made from Flax seed, grown around the world to create Linen. Making Linen 100% vegan. There are many fabrics in the markets that are not vegan friendly, some are quite surprising when categorizing non vegan materials, but here is a list of a few non vegan fibres:
Each of our masks are made from Linen, meaning that there are several natural benefits that can help you breathe and stay comfortable with our face masks. With other materials like Cotton or Polyester, it is used for mouth guards. With these types of face masks, sweat can build up as a result of the perspiration building up heat around the mouth and sometimes, making it uncomfortable and challenging.
With our masks, they are naturally wicking, meaning it can catch the perspiration from your mouth and soaks into the Linen face mask, keeping your mouth cool while you go about your daily life.
With Linen also being naturally quick drying, meaning it won’t go damp and it will keep your mask fresher for longer!
