How wonderful to receive a parcel wrapped like that and then to open it and find my sheets and pillowcases beautifully encased in crisp white tissue paper. So the joy began even before I got to the sheets, which are every bit as exquisite as I expected. They’ve had a first wash and have softened nicely but be prepared to do some ironing if you want perfectly smooth sheets. Having said that, I’ve had a pair of these for years and I never felt the need to iron them as they get softer with every wash. Irish linen of this quality is worth every penny and a joy to sleep in.
